New End-of-Season Quiz Night for Norwich Pétanque Club

Norwich Pétanque Club is doing something a little different to round off the 2026 season!

This year, our traditional end-of-season meal is being replaced with a brand-new End-of-Season Quiz Night, giving members, friends and family the chance to get together for an evening of good food, friendly competition and plenty of fun.

The Quiz Night will take place on Thursday 12th November 2026 at The Cottage, with teams of 4–6 people invited to put their general knowledge to the test.

The cost is £11 per person, which includes your meal.

🕖 Evening timings

Guests are asked to arrive from 7:00pm, with food served at 7:30pm before the quiz gets underway.

🍛 What's on the menu?

There are five meal choices available:

Chicken Pasanda – Mild/Sweet A mild and fruity curry with chicken slowly simmered in coconut milk, almonds and raisins.

Beef Massaman – Medium Tender Norfolk beef with butternut squash and peanuts in a Thai-inspired curry combining sweet, savoury and aromatic flavours.

Spinach & Butternut Squash Satay Curry – Medium A vegetarian curry featuring butternut squash and spinach with peanut butter, coconut milk, ginger and Thai red curry paste.

All three curry options are served with poppadoms and mango chutney.

Alternatively, you can choose Butchers Sausage & Mash, served with buttery mash and gravy, or Vegetarian Sausages & Mash.

🎟️ Raffle supporting our juniors

We’ll also be holding a raffle during the evening, with funds raised going towards Norwich Pétanque Club’s Junior Development.

To help make the raffle a success, we’re asking everyone attending to please bring along a prize to donate.

Your support will help us continue to develop opportunities for our junior players and encourage the next generation of pétanque players at Norwich.
