Date for Your Diary: Norwich Petanque Club to Host Norfolk vs. Suffolk Coastal County Match

The Norwich Petanque Club is proud to announce it will be hosting next year’s county match between Norfolk and Suffolk Coastal.

The match will take place on Saturday, 9th May, at The Cottage, with play starting promptly at 11:00am. This exciting event will see 24 players from each county competing in a full day of petanque, with each player taking part in triples, pairs, and singles matches — a true test of skill, strategy, and endurance.

Norfolk team organisers have confirmed that invitations will be sent out soon, and that all players currently registered to a Thursday night League team will be eligible for selection for Norfolk.

This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase top-level petanque talent and to strengthen the friendly rivalry between the two counties. Spectators are welcome, and the club looks forward to hosting a competitive and enjoyable day for players and fans a like.
