Roche Surveyors Enjoy Summer Team Building Evenings with Norwich Pétanque Club

On two warm and sunny Thursday evenings—5th and 19th June—Norwich Pétanque Club hosted Roche Surveyors for a pair of fantastic team-building sessions held at the beautiful Hoveton Hall grounds.
Led by club members Derek Thorndyke and Ashley Sayer, 39 Roche employees were introduced to the sport of pétanque in a relaxed and friendly environment. The sessions began with a quick demonstration covering the basics, before teams were formed for a mini-competition. All equipment was supplied by Norwich Pétanque Club, making it an easy and accessible activity for everyone involved.
With the sun shining and the Pimm’s flowing, the evenings were a perfect blend of learning, laughter, and light-hearted rivalry. Congratulations to James Allen, who emerged as the overall winner of the competition!
Both events were a brilliant example of how pétanque can bring people together—ideal for corporate team building or a fun summer social.
