Norwich Pétanque Club Partners with AgeUK Norwich for Monthly Pétanque Afternoons

Norwich Pétanque Club is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with AgeUK Norwich, aimed at encouraging social connection, gentle activity, and community engagement through the sport of pétanque.

Starting 14th July 2025, we will be hosting a Pétanque Afternoon every second Monday, from 14:00 to 16:00, at the Cottage, Thorpe St Andrew. These sessions are open to all and especially welcome those looking to stay active, try something new, or just enjoy a fun afternoon in good company.

For just £5 per session, participants will receive all the equipment needed, expert guidance from friendly club members, and a standard tea or coffee afterwards—perfect for a bit of post-game conversation.

These sessions are designed to be relaxed, accessible, and welcoming to players of all abilities. Whether completely new to pétanque or just haven’t played in years, we’d love to see you there!

📅 When? Every second Monday of the month

🕑 Time? 14:00–16:00

☕ Cost? £5 including a tea or coffee

📍 Where? the Cottage, Thorpe St Andrew

This new initiative reflects both organisations’ commitment to supporting wellbeing and inclusion through enjoyable community-based activities.
