Norman Guest Charity Pairs

Our final competition of the season, the Norman Guest Pairs, was held on Saturday 23rd September over four timed games with the winners being determined by most wins followed by highest point difference.

 

We had twelve pairs taking part on a warm and sunny afternoon and we raised £135 which will go to the Motor Neurone Disease Association, so many thanks to all who entered, brought a raffle prize or bought a raffle ticket or two. 

 

The runners up were Lou & Tony D’Esposito (although Mark Bell deputised for Tony in the final match) with three wins and plus twenty two points, and our winners were Mervyn Bell and Jallal Talbi, the only team with four wins and a points difference of plus thirty five. Well done to them!
